from $9144 per person*

The warm, dry-grass smell of the heat-hazed savannah, a lion’s roar rumbling through the star-streaked night, mighty peaks piercing gigantic skies, near-endless bush teeming with life – Kenya is the Africa of your imagination.

Planet earth on an epic scale. A place that fills your nostrils, kisses your skin, tingles your spine. SkySafari delivers you to this soul-stirring wilderness, with not a minute wasted.

After a night in Nairobi, fly to Meru National Park. Meru National Park offers a diversity of animals unrivalled by any other park in East Africa. Visit Loisaba, where cutting-edge conservation helps preserve landscapes as dramatic as they are biodiverse. Fly right to the matchless Masai Mara for arguably the finest game-viewing in the world.

This carefully curated 8 day SkySafari Kenya delivers maximum variety and adventure in high style, with high efficiency. There’s no needless waiting or stops en route: you’ll be driven straight onto the strip to board your elegant private aircraft – which seats only eight passengers – to soar straight to your next exquisite lodge or camp, deep in the wilderness. That means more time tracking big cats on foot, learning bird calls, searching for the Big Five and chinking G&T glasses as the sun sinks below the horizon.

The combination of executive plane, direct flights, top-class guides and luxurious camps and lodges in the most magnificent of locations is A-list decadence at an affordable price. It’s kind to the planet too: SkySafari not only operates on a carbon negative basis, but every trip contributes to Land & Life, a foundation committed to a sustainable future that sees local communities benefit from tourism, safeguarding nature for the next generation. So fly with us, to explore deeper, to help conserve more and to spend longer immersed in the sights, smells, sounds and sensations of the African bush.

Day 1: Arrive Nairobi

On arrival at Nairobi International Airport you will be fast tracked through Immigration and transferred to Hemingways by your SkySafari driver. Welcome dinner at Hemingways Nairobi. Your butler will assist with anything you require to get your trip off to a seamless start. (D)

Day 2: Meru National Park

Transfer to Wilson Airport for your flight to Meru. Meru was brought to fame in the 1960s through Joy Adamson’s best-selling book, Born Free, the true story of Elsa the lioness, and her release into the wild. Your accommodation will be at Elsa’s Kopje, in the heart of the park, perched around the rocky Mughwango hill and offering 360 degree views that stretch from the 17,000 foot peak of Mt Kenya to the east, to virtually infinity to the west. The hill was the playground of Elsa the lion. There is a fertile spring to the east of the hill and guests can watch vast herds of elephant, buffalo and giraffe make their way across the plains below. Your first game drive will be this morning, with another in the afternoon. (B,L,D)

Day 3: Meru National Park

Meru has enormous diversity of habitat and wildlife, from cool forests at 3400′ to the west, dropping down to 1000′ semi-desert plains with giant baobab and commiphora trees. It has thirteen clear spring fed rivers lined with palms and riverine forest, and home to basking hippo. This is lion and elephant country, but you’ll also discover rare species including caracal, the beautiful Lesser Kudu, aardwolf, and over 400 species of birds. The park is also a rhino sanctuary, home to over 60 black and white rhino. You’ll enjoy two game activities today. (B,L,D)

Day 4: Loisaba Private Conservancy

Great game, good looks, high adventure, an exclusive feel and a groundbreaking attitude to conservation make the Loisaba Conservancy one of the most exciting destinations in Kenya. Sitting within Northern Laikipia, it’s a ravishing landscape of rolling river valleys, rich forests and open plains, home to the Big Five, endangered rarities like wild dog and more than 260 species of birds. Your accommodation, the contemporary-luxe Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp – perched on an escarpment, with unhindered views to Mt Kenya – offers excellent game drives today. (B,L,D)

Day 5: Loisaba Private Conservancy

Today, why not mix it up a bit? Ride through the bush on horse-back – a thrilling way to get unusually close to wild animals. Or bound down the ridges by mountain bike, raft through canyons and take a sunset trek by camel. Or witness Loisaba’s cutting edge conservation first-hand. Visit the conservancy headquarters to see the extraordinary work being done here and meet the sniffer dogs and the anti-poaching team to find out how they safeguard the wilderness. For the ultimate unwind, sink into the camp’s infinity pool before a very special night’s sleep; roll a fourposter Elewana Starbed out onto your decking and drift off to the tweets, snaps, howls and bellows of the bush, with nothing between you and the galaxies above. (B,L,D)

Day 6: Masai Mara Private Conservancy

The vast, fertile plains of the Masai Mara boast a plethora of wildlife; with over 450 bird species and both resident and transient populations of lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe; the plains are dense with game. Your accommodation, Elephant Pepper Camp’s remote location allows the stars to shine bright at night, undimmed by harsh lighting; guests enjoy the unique experience of listening to the sounds of lion, leopard and hyena foraging and hunting, whilst being cosseted with traditional and modern comforts such as a campfire and cosy duvets. Enjoy two game drives today. (B,L,D)

Day 7: Masai Mara Private Conservancy

Upon waking, tea and freshly-baked biscuits ease guests into a morning of game drives or bush walks across the conservancy in the company of highly experienced local guides and wildlife rangers. Blankets warm the guests on night game drives back to camp after sundowners in the bush. Delicious Northern Italian cuisine, fresh baking and sensational salads complete the rustic luxury sensation. (B,L,D)

Day 8: Depart

Relax over breakfast before flying back to Nairobi, where cocktails at Hemingways await – whether you’re about to fly home or continue your journey, you’ll want to toast this sublime Kenyan adventure. (B)
