Day 1: Depart USA

Make your way to Los Angeles Airport for your overnight flight to Melbourne. If you require a connecting flight from another US gateway, please let us know and we can price your airfare accordingly.

Day 2: International Date Line

During your flight, you will cross the International Date Line.

Day 3: Arrive Melbourne

After you clear Customs & Immigration, you will be met in the Arrivals Hall and be transferred to your hotel for a 4-night stay. The remainder of your day is free to explore the city at your leisure.

Day 4: Yarra Valley (L)

Experience the delights of Victoria’s wine country on this Yarra Valley wine tour from Melbourne. With an informative wine guide, you’ll visit four popular wineries: Balgownie Estate, Steels Gate Winery, Greenstone Vineyards, and Yering Farm. Enjoy plenty of tastings as well as a winery lunch while you learn about winemaking in Australian and admire the picturesque landscapes.

Day 5: Great Ocean Road (L)

Your camera will get a good workout along this exciting journey where we will stop for plenty of photo opportunities. Day 8: Hobart

Spend the morning exploring Tasmania’s capital. Hobart is a quaint city that features many preserved colonial sandstone buildings. The vibrant waterfront and Salamanca Place were once the hub of a thriving whaling industry. Visit nearby Battery Point where the historic buildings vary from grand homes to the humble worker’s cottages. Enjoy a scenic drive to the alpine wilderness of Mt Wellington, a 1270m peak, which provides a dramatic backdrop to the city and offers stunning views over Hobart and beyond (weather dependent) before returning to your accommodation.

Day 9: Hobart

Journey from Hobart to the breathtaking Tasman Peninsula, where the Southern Ocean has sculpted awe-inspiring caves and arches. Walk along towering cliffs, witness giant waves at Pirates Bay, Waterfall Bay, Tasman Arch, and Devil’s Kitchen. Encounter Tasmanian Devils at the Unzoo, joining a feeding frenzy and hand-feeding wallabies. Day 10: Hobart

Enjoy a full day tour from Hobart and spend a day on the Tasman Peninsula including return guided bus tour, 3-hour Wilderness Cruise, Tasmanian Devil Unzoo entry, morning tea and lunch. This amazing wilderness and wildlife cruise takes you along the spectacular coastline between Eaglehawk Neck and Port Arthur. Travel beneath the highest vertical sea cliffs in the Southern Hemisphere at Cape Pillar, and explore waterfalls, rock formations, archways, and deep-sea caves. The coastline is home to a variety of wildlife including seals, migrating whales, dolphins, and abundant sea birds. Begin with an early hotel pickup for a scenic coach journey to Cape Jervis, passing the picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula. Board the SeaLink ferry to Kangaroo Island. Your coach and local guide will lead a tour of this nature-based gem, starting with Seal Bay Conservation Park and a guided beach walk among rare sea lions. Enjoy a two-course lunch. Explore Flinders Chase National Park, spotting wildlife and admiring Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Your day ends at Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park, where you can feed kangaroos and learn about koalas. Return to Adelaide via ferry and coach.

Since 1869, the Central Market has been a culinary gem in South Australia, offering premium food and wine products. After breakfast, embark on an engaging gourmet walking tour led by a local food expert. Explore diverse stalls, sample multicultural delights, and savor the freshness of local farm and ocean produce while immersing yourself in the market’s vibrant atmosphere. Day 15: Adelaide – Cairns

Day 16: Cairns (L)

Make your way down the Cairns Marina to board the high-speed cruise vessel for your journey out to the Great Barrier Reef. Travel in comfort and style aboard the region’s most luxurious, high-speed reef cruise vessel “Evolution”. Choose between seating in spacious indoor saloons or extensive outer decks with lounges split over 3 levels. Spend less time travelling and a full 5 hours split over 2 pristine Outer Great Barrier Reef locations chosen for their water clarity, coral density, and overall quality of marine life. This package includes EITHER an Introductory Dive (no experience necessary) OR Certified Dive PLUS a spectacular 10-minute Reef Scenic Helicopter Flight! This tour showcases the reef from above and below highlighting the incredible colors, fish and corals of the great barrier reef and sheer scale of the Great Barrier Reef from the air. All snorkeling equipment is provided with friendly tuition for beginners and easy reef access from large water level platforms.

Day 17: Cairns

This morning, you will met and transferred to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Glide above the rainforest canopy to the Kuranda Terminal with stops along the way at Red Peak Station and Barron Falls Station. On arrival at Kuranda visit the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary and enjoy time to wander through the Kuranda Village. Later, transfer to Rainforestation Nature Park for the following for a delicious hot buffet BBQ lunch and a wide selection of salads and fruits. Jump on an Army Duck Rainforest Tour and travel deep into the rainforest on both land and water as your guide explains different species of flora and fauna. Watch the Pamagirri Dancers perform in the rainforest amphitheater, then join the Dreamtime Walk – learn to throw a boomerang and watch spear-throwing and didgeridoo playing. Koala and Wildlife Park. Explore the park and see crocodiles, wombats, snakes, dingoes and a cassowary, and hand feed kangaroos and wallabies. You will have the opportunity to have your photo taken cuddling a koala or holding a small crocodile (at your own expense). Travel by GOLD CLASS on Scenic Kuranda Rail back to Cairns Central Station winding through 15 hand cut tunnels and past spectacular waterfalls. On arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
