Day 1: Depart USA

This evening make your way to the Los Angeles International Airport for your overnight flight to Sydney.

Day 2: International Date Line

During your flight, you will cross the International Date Line.

Day 3: Arrive Sydney

After you clear Immigration and Customs, collect your luggage and meet your driver for your transfer to your hotel where you will spend the next four nights. This afternoon, step beneath the sails and discover what makes the Opera House so inspiring. Discover insider secrets and stories of the Opera House artists and performances, and step inside the iconic theatres and foyers that bring to life over 1800 performances each year. Explore the building with your knowledgeable guide, learn about how Jorn Utzon’s vision came into existence against impossible odds, and capture photographs from rare vantage points, off limits to the general public.

Day 4: Sydney

A free morning before joining an afternoon tour to explore historic Rocks with its early convict history. Proceed through the city center and Macquarie Street, admiring 18th-century sandstone architecture like NSW Parliament House, Rum Hospital, Hyde Park Barracks, and St. Mary’s Cathedral. Reach Mrs. Macquarie’s Point for stunning views of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Continue through Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, known for its opulence. Travel along the harbor’s shores for photo opportunities, including a panoramic Sydney skyline view. Pass areas like Kings Cross, Double Bay, and Rose Bay before reaching Watsons Bay. Here, you can opt for a short coastal walk with ocean and harbor views. Then, visit famous Bondi Beach for 30 minutes to enjoy the beachfront promenade, sand, and refreshments at your expense. Observe lifeguards and surfers. Day 5: Sydney (L)

Enjoy time exploring the city at your leisure this morning before joining the ultimate Sydney Harbour sightseeing cruise to discover and experience Sydney Harbour and its secluded beaches. The 2-hour 15-minute cruise includes full live commentary as well as a buffet style lunch.

Day 6: Blue Mountains (L)

Explore the heart of a unique World Heritage Region – the Blue Mountains. Begin at Calmsley Hill, a charming farm offering wildlife encounters and scenic bush surroundings. Meet Kangaroos and Koalas while savoring a light morning tea. Then, drive to the Blue Mountains via the highway and discover secluded viewpoints overlooking the Jamison Valley and the famous Three Sisters at Eaglehawk Lookout. Enjoy lunch at Hydro Majestic with a choice to order from the menu or at the Pavillion. The afternoon includes visits to various scenic lookouts, including the famous Govett’s Leap, where a magnificent waterfall plunges 180m. Conclude your journey at the Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens for sweeping views and a refreshing glass of sparkling wine or orange juice before returning to your hotel.

Day 7: Sydney – Cairns

Transfer to Sydney Airport by private vehicle for your flight to Cairns. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation for a 4-night stay.

Day 8: Great Barrier Reef (L)

Indulge in the ultimate adventure package and get the most value out of your day on the Great Barrier Reef. You’ll relish our comprehensive full-day experience, complete with snorkeling, a sumptuous lunch, sunbathing, and the option to take either an Introductory dive or Certified dive. Day 9: Daintree (D)

Today is free to relax until noon when you will join a small-group tour to the World Heritage-listed Daintree. An exceptional chance to venture into the Daintree Rainforest after dark, enhancing the depth of our nature and wildlife encounters. Glide along the serene Daintree River aboard a tranquil, eco-friendly solar electric boat, where you can spot wildlife. Afterward, enjoy a jungle dinner before setting out on foot to unveil the mysteries of the nocturnal realm.

Day 10: Kuranda

Embark on a memorable Grand Kuranda adventure with a journey on the Kuranda Scenic Railway. Ride the train to the charming Kuranda village, passing through 15 hand-cut tunnels and alongside breathtaking waterfalls. Upon arrival in Kuranda, explore the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary. Next, make your way to the Rainforestation Nature Park for a delectable lunch and a captivating performance by the Pamagirri Aboriginal Dance Troupe. Engage in the Dreamtime Walk, which includes activities like boomerang and spear throwing, as well as didgeridoo playing. Experience the rainforest from a unique perspective on an amphibious Army Duck tour and visit the Tropical Fruit Orchard.
