Day 1: Depart USA
This evening make your way to San Francisco Airport for your overnight flight to Brisbane & connecting flight to Cairns. Other gateway cities are available, please call for details and pricing.
Day 2: International Date Line
During your flight, you will cross the International Date Line.
Day 3: Port Douglas (D)
On arrival in Brisbane, clear Customs & Immigration before transferring to the Domestic Terminal for your flight to Cairns. On arrival in Cairns, you will be met and transferred by private vehicle to Mossman and the stunning Silky Oaks Lodge for a four-night stay.
The remainder of your day is at leisure.
Day 4: Port Douglas (B,D)
Awaken to the heady chorus of the rainforest. Enjoy breakfast in the open-air restaurant overlooking the Mossman River and plan the day’s pursuits, fresh juice, or coffee in-hand.
Explore Far North Queensland like a local on a full-day guided tour. Visit Mossman Gorge and Cape Tribulation before a cruise on the Daintree River. Not to worry, morning tea and lunch is served along the way (additional charges apply)
Unwind to the restorative rhythm of the tropics with evening drinks and snacks served in the bar. Dine at leisure in the Treehouse Restaurant and enjoy a daily changing four-course menu celebrating the bounty of local, seasonal produce.
Day 5: Port Douglas (B,D)
Join a Great Barrier Reef cruise and visit the outer reef in style onboard a high-speed catamaran (additional charges apply). Refuel with lunch on the open water before slipping on a snorkel and fins for a guided snorkeling adventure.
As the sun slips down, enjoy evening drinks and snacks on the Jungle Perch before dining in the relaxed ambience of the Treehouse Restaurant and savor a four-course table d’hôte menu matched with premium wines.
Day 6: Port Douglas (B,D)
Immerse in the sights and sounds of the rainforest with a hike along the Fig Tree Rapids trail. Plunge into the freshwater billabong for a feeling of refreshment only Mother Nature can offer.
Transfer mid-morning to the coastal resort town of Port Douglas. Wander along Four Mile Beach, visit the old Sugar Wharf and explore the boutique and restaurant lined main street.
The Healing Waters Spa offers a menu inspired by ancient Indigenous beliefs that the water in the Mossman River is a renewing and life-giving force. Treatments feature the Australian-made Sodashi skin care range (additional charges apply).
Enjoy cocktails on the Jungle Perch before settling in for a final dining experience in the Treehouse Restaurant.
Day 7: Gold Coast (B)
Join an early morning yoga class, take a rainforest walk, or plunge into the invigorating Mossman River. Breathe deep the clean, green oxygen and marvel at the oldest living rainforest on the planet. Time for a final breakfast and to take the last pictures before returning along the coastal bends to Cairns Airport.
Fly to Brisbane, where on arrival, you will be transferred by private vehicle to the Gold Coast for a three-night stay.
Day 8: Gold Coast (B,L)
Join a guided tour, beginning the adventure by exploring the enchanting landscape of the Gold Coast and stunning backdrop of the hinterlands, uncovering the region’s rich history and natural beauty. Then, step into the world of Australian wildlife with an exclusive, behind-the-scenes encounter at a renowned wildlife sanctuary.
